Dale Elwell | Speaker/Musician
Dale Elwell is a seasoned Evangelist who is committed to rightly divide the word of God through study and solid expository preaching. He specializes in sharing “real life” illustrations that help bridge the message of scripture into the current culture so that listeners are tuned in from start to finish, expecting to hear God speak.
In addition to his ministry as an evangelist, Dale brings a rare combination of experience to the table. Over the years, Dale has served as a rap artist, youth minister, adjunct professor, Spiritual Life Director at a facility for teens in state’s custody, Principal of a Christian School, and Pastor.
Dale holds a Masters of Divinity w/biblical counseling degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. However, he considers his greatest credentials to be God’s anointing, and the support of his wife and children. Dale has been married to wife, Brantlee Elwell, for 29 years. Together, they have 4 children: Caleb 24, Andrew 23, Hannah 21, and Hope 9 years old.
Drew Elwell | Speaker
Andrew Elwell is 23 years old and recently married to his wife, Jayleine. In 2017, while participating in a retreat with Cross Culture Ministries’ Board of Directors, Andrew felt the calling to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Board of Directors had previously witnessed evidence of God’s call upon “Drew’s” life and promptly affirmed his calling. After hearing him preach and witnessing his leadership qualities firsthand, Greenbrier Baptist (Ronceverte, WV) officially licensed him to preach in 2019. He has also participated in our “222 PreachersTraining,” which helps preachers learn to prepare and present sermons in an expository manner. Andrew’s preaching is powerful, clear, and doctrinally sound! He has preached the gospel numerous times to all age groups, including teenagers in Costa Rica where he preached through an interpreter and saw several young people come to salvation!
In addition to representing CCM as our youngest Evangelist, Andrew has served our ministry through various administrative roles including: 1) writing/distributing monthly newsletters, 2) bookkeeping, 3) event planning, and 4) website upkeep/design. Currently he serves as part of CCM’s Core Administrative Team as “Evangelist & Event Coordinator.”

Matt Evans | Musician
Matt Evans is a seasoned singer-songwriter, originally from Greensboro NC now residing in Oak Hill WV. Matt has been performing with bands and as a solo artist for over 20 years locally in North Carolina and West Virginia, as well as regionally in the Southeast.
His previous release, “Everybody Waits”, was influenced by a whole range of musical genres and includes a variety of original songs. His most current single, “Broken”, was recorded in Nashville TN with producer Dick McVey. The album “Everybody Waits” and the single “Broken” are available now at www.cdbaby.com/mattevans. “Broken is also available on iTunes. His music can also be heard frequently on local radio station, “Classic Hits 106”, in Lindside WV.
Previously, Matt has served as a worship leader or been involved in worship teams at “Grassroots” (Lewisburg, WV), “The Well” at Westover Church (Greensboro, NC), Lifepointe Christian Church (Charlotte, NC), and Northeast Baptist Church (McLeansville, NC). Matt has also travelled as an independent worship leader and performer in various churches and venues in North Carolina and around the southeast.
Matt has worked extensively over the years with Cross Culture Ministries in leading worship at special events. Additionally, Matt produced and recorded a 4 song CD entitled, “One Love” in partnership with Cross Culture Ministries and the One Love Book project. Additionally, Matt has a BA in Pastoral Counseling from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO.
Brad Bates | Teacher/Musician
Brad Bates is an extraordinarily talented communicator with a diverse combination of skills. He not only teaches, but is a seasoned musician as well. Although Brad was “saved” at the young age of 7, he experienced the Holy Spirit’s convicting power, was radically changed and called at 19! Brad obtained a BA in Youth Ministry from Charleston Southern University in 2005 and has served extensively in churches in various positions including 1) Campus Pastor, 2) Worship Pastor, and 3) Youth Pastor. Brad has written and produced many powerful songs and, in 2015, was invited to enlist, rehearse, and oversee a choir to sing backup for “Third Day” during one of their final tours!
Brad is the founder and host of the eagerforTRUTH blog, a website focused on having hard discussions without all the stereotypical angry Christian responses. Brad is the happy husband of one wife and the father of four.
Brad has served with CCM in the past, primarily as a worship leader at various youth camps, revivals, and conferences. He joined the CCM team as an official staff member in April 2021 and currently serves as Evangelist and Director of Technology. As an Evangelist with CCM, our ministry utilizes and recommends both his anointed talents in music as well as his gift to teach biblical truth.

OneDayNow is a pop/rock band based in Lewisburg, WV.
Founded in 2022, members include:

The group is currently producing new original music and expanding an ever-growing list of covers and worship songs. OneDayNow also has a heart for Christ and the community.
Partnering with nonprofit organization, Cross Culture Ministries, the band is committed to sharing a message of hope and healing through church and community events in West Virginia and regionally in the southeastern United States.
